My Christian faith informs the way I care for families.I am honored to support clients from a variety of backgrounds who are comfortable with a faith-informed approach to birth care.Prayer is always offered with permission and is never expected. My goal is to meet each family with humility, kindness, and respect while supporting them in making informed decisions throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.Welcoming a baby into the world is one of life's greatest joys, and it can also bring many questions whether you're preparing for your first birth or adding another little one to your family, you don't have to walk the journey alone.I am here to provide emotional, physical, spiritual, and educational support while helping you prepare with confidence, make informed decisions, and feel cared for every step of the way.

The name "In His Hands" reflects the foundation of my practice. I believe that every mother, every baby, and every birth is ultimately in God’s loving hands. While birth can bring uncertainty, my desire is to provide calm, compassionate, and evidence-informed support so families feel cared for, respected, and never alone.

Compassionate support from pregnancy through postpartum.Welcoming a baby is one of life’s greatest milestones, and you shouldn’t have to navigate it alone. My role is to provide continuous emotional, physical, and educational support while helping you prepare for birth with confidence, make informed decisions, and feel cared for throughout your journey.What’s Included:Two Prenatal VisitsDuring our prenatal visits, we’ll spend time preparing for your birth together. We’ll discuss topics such as:

  • What to expect during labor and birth

  • Comfort measures and labor positions

  • Defining your birth preferences

  • Common medical interventions and informed decision-making

  • Advocacy and communication

  • Immediate newborn care

  • Planning for the postpartum period

  • Practical birth rehearsal

Four Weeks of On-Call SupportBeginning at 38 weeks, I’ll be on call for your birth until two weeks after your estimated due date, ready to join you when labor begins.Continuous Labor & Birth SupportOnce you’re in active labor, I’ll remain with you throughout your birth, offering:

  • Emotional encouragement

  • Physical comfort measures

  • Position changes to encourage labor progress

  • Breathing and relaxation support

  • A calm, reassuring presence

  • Support for your partner

  • Evidence-based information to help you understand your options

One Postpartum VisitAfter your baby’s arrival, we’ll meet again to:

  • Check in on your recovery

  • Process your birth experience

  • Answer questions

  • Provide encouragement and practical support as you adjust to life with your newborn

Welcome, I'm Gabrielle, and I'm so glad you're here.My love for birth began with a desire to serve women during one of the most vulnerable yet powerful and beautiful moments of their lives. That calling continues to shape the way I care for every family I meet.I believe every family deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported through pregnancy and birth. Whether this is your first baby or your fifth, I want you to know your questions are welcome, your concerns matter, and your birth experience matters.My Christian Faith is at the center of who I am and naturally shapes the way I serve. I strive to care for your family with compassion, humility, kindness, and respect, while providing encouragement every step of the way.Outside of birth work, I enjoy cooking from scratch, spending time in nature, and continuing to grow as both a childbirth educator and student midwife.It would be a privilege to walk alongside you as you welcome your little one into the world.

What I believe about birth

I believe birth is one of God’s most beautiful designs.While pregnancy and birth sometimes require medical intervention, I also believe the body is wonderfully designed and should be supported whenever possible. I have a deep appreciation for physiologic birth and the incredible way a mother’s body and her baby are designed to work together.I believe every mother and baby are unique. There is no single birth experience that fits everyone, which is why I want each family to feel informed, respected, and free to make the decisions that are right for them.Education is at the heart of the way I serve. My goal is not simply to support you during labor, but to help you understand your options before labor begins. I believe honest, evidence-based education allows parents to approach birth with greater confidence and peace.I also believe that preparing for birth involves caring for the whole person. Good nutrition, movement, fresh air, rest, hydration, and trust in God all play an important role in supporting a healthy pregnancy and birth.As your doula, my role is not to replace your healthcare provider or make decisions for you. My role is to offer continuous emotional, physical, and educational support while helping create a calm environment where you feel safe, heard, and cared for.For families who desire it, I am always happy to offer prayer and spiritual encouragement.My desire is not to create the “perfect” birth, but to help you feel prepared, supported, and at peace as you welcome your baby into the world.
